Krispy Kreme for your Dad (or you)

So today we found out that Krispy Kreme is doing a special competition for Father's Day.

The way it works is you find the ugliest tie you can find and take it in to your local Krispy Kreme and no matter how ugly or nice the tie is, you get a free dozen glazed doughnuts.

You do have to leave your tie with them but they enter you into a competition for free doughnuts for a year. I'm not sure if I even want the free doughnuts for a year but the dozen is fun to share with friends.

Call your local Krispy Kreme to find out if they are participating.

Great Deals Tip #1

Sign up for a free e-mail address through a service like gmail or hotmail to use for all offers you complete.

This will keep the junk mail out of your everyday inbox.

Trail Mix Crunch Coupon

I've also found a great coupon for Post Trail Mix Crunch cereal. There are two types that I've found at local stores. There is the Cranberry Vanilla and Raisin & Almond.

The coupon is for $2 off when you buy a box. When I went to Albertson's the other day they were on sale 2/$5 which makes each box $.50 each.

Unfortunately when I went back to pick up another box, because I couldn't pass up such a good deal on cereal, they had put them on clearance for around $3.5o a box. I decided I didn't want to spend $1.50 on the box so I looked elsewhere.

Today I found some at Smith's and they were clearing them out for $2.69 which made each box I got for $.69.

We haven't gotten to try the cereal yet but we hear it's great stuff. Each box is regularly $5 so this is a great deal if you can find it in the store!
